How much do hair extensions cost?
Hair extension pricing varies based on the method, amount of hair needed, and your goals. Volume packages start around $600, Length + Volume packages start around $950, and Corrective work is priced individually. All packages include the consultation, installation, aftercare education, and follow-up support. I believe in transparent pricing – no surprise costs.
How long do hair extensions last?
With proper care and regular maintenance, my hair extensions last 1 year with proper home care and maintenance. The key is to come in for regular maintenance based off your install method. Move-ups every 6-8 weeks and using the right products at home. I’ll teach you exactly how to care for them so they stay looking fresh for months.
What makes you different from other salons?
I’m the Peace Hair Co regional educator for Northern Kentucky, which means I teach other stylists how to do hair extensions properly. 90% of my business is hair extensions, and I specialize in corrective work – fixing what others mess up. I prioritize your hair’s health over quick fixes and treat you like family.
Can you fix hair extensions that were improperly installed?
Yes! Corrective hair extension work is one of my specialties. I see extension disasters every week – from extensions that are slipping, matted, the color not matched correctly, or damaging your natural hair. Most correction issues can be fixed, though it sometimes requires starting over with a proper installation.
What hair extension methods do you offer?
I specialize in K-tip (keratin bond) extensions and all types of weft extensions including hand-tied wefts, machine wefts, and Genius wefts. During your consultation, I’ll assess your hair type, lifestyle, and goals to recommend the best method for you.
Do you offer hair extension training for stylists?
Yes! As a Peace Hair Co regional educator, I offer weft extension courses ($800) and K-tip extension courses ($1,000). All courses include hands-on practice, professional toolkits, and ongoing support to help you build a successful extension business.
Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?
Not when done properly! Hair extensions should never damage your natural hair. If they are, something went wrong. I use proper weight distribution, assess your hair’s health first, and teach you how to care for both your natural hair and extensions. Your hair health is my top priority.
What areas do you serve?
I’m located in Newport, KY and serve all of Northern Kentucky including Fort Thomas, Covington, Highland Heights, Cold Spring, Alexandria, Independence, Florence, and Union. I also see clients from the Cincinnati metro area. We have even had clients travel to from Flordia, Tennessee and Illinois for our services.
